SWFS 2022 Conference

Join us as the Society for Wildlife Forensic Science (SWFS) navigates the challenges faced by the ever-changing world.  A semi-hybrid platform has been selected for the 2022 SWFS conference, taking place October 30-November 4, 2022 in Ashland, Oregon.  The Conference will be based at the Ashland Springs Hotel, with several workshops being conducted at the National Fish and Wildlife Forensic Laboratory, https://www.fws.gov/lab/.

Safety is our main concern for our 2022 SWFS conference, and we want everyone to feel comfortable being a part of the meeting.  SWFS 2022 will offer recordings of the conference for those who are unable to attend the in-person events.  These recordings will be available at a reduced rate and will be accessible shortly after the meeting concludes.

For those who are able to join us in Ashland, the planning committee is working hard with the venue(s) staff to ensure your experience will be safe and healthy.  Everyone is excited to welcome you to Oregon, please check out this fun video about Travel Oregon.

Registration for the October 2022 conference will be available late April 2022. We ask that you please save the date and book your hotel reservations today for the SWFS conference in Ashland, Oregon- October 30-November 4, 2022.

Call for Abstracts for the 2022 SWFS Conference

Abstract deadline for the 2022 SWFS conference to be held in Ashland, Oregon is JUNE 17th.  This year we are taking submissions for both oral presentations and poster presentations via an electronic form found on the SWFS website here.  The body of the abstract should be no more than 250 words  Please see the SWFS website for more information.  Contact Dyan Straughan (Dyan_Straughan@fws.gov) for any abstract related questions.  We hope to see you in Ashland October 30th through November 4th, 2022.
